Force and Torque
Chatillon offers a wide variety of mechanical and digital handheld force and torque gauges to meet any testing requirement. The mechanical and digital force gauges with internal load cells are available in a range of capacities from 0 – 500 lbf. Digital gauges with remote load cells have capacities that range from 0 – 10,000 lbf. Multiple models with a variety of features and communication options allow for a solution for nearly any budget and testing application.
Mechanical Test Stands
The CHATILLON MT150 and MT500 Series mechanical test stands are an easy-to-use solution for force measurement applications up to 500 lbf (2.5 kN) capacities. The test stand may be equipped with a quick-action lever or precision handwheel for controlling crosshead speed and travel. Both test stands can be bench mounted, wall mounted, or positioned horizontally and use Chatillon force gauges. The CHATILLON TT Series is a pneumatically-operated tester for measuring breaking strength of electrical leads, terminals, connectors, wire wraps, etc. It is ideal for areas where intrinsic safety is required (when used with a mechanical gauge).
CS Series Digital Force
The CHATILLON CS225 Series digital force tester is a revolutionary system optimized for production testing applications, including medical devices, plastics, packaging, textiles, rubber, and electronics. No PC, proprietary software, or programming knowledge required. A 225 lbf capacity frame and a 1100 lbf capacity frame are available, and both systems use interchangeable, auto-recognition CLC series load cells.
Motorized Test Stands
The Chatillon LTCM-100 and LTCM-500 motorized test stands are economical, motorized testers optimized for product floor operation. When combined with a Chatillon DF Series digital force gauge, they provide users with an easy-to-use testing system for tensile, compression, peel, and flexural testing applications. The LTCM-100 has a 110lbf capacity while the LTCM-500 has a 550 lbf capacity.
